Miranda Lambert married a police officer and now he can not do the patrols on foot because the media does not stop following him.

Miranda Lambert's new husband, Brendan McLoughlin, a police officer with the New York Police Department used to spend his workday patrolling Times Square on foot, but that routine seems to have come to an end due to the fame of his new wife.

Apparently, it is true that by marrying a celebrity has also joined for life with his fame. Brendan has had to be temporarily reassigned to a more covert position after experiencing an increase in media attention after his wedding with the country singer.

All this happened after a major television news channel went to the NYPD Midtown South Precinct office to speak with Brendan. A reporter tried to contact him but Brendan never spoke with the journalist, who was rejected, the sources told TMZ.

Brendan was temporarily assigned to drive his superiors around the city for the next few weeks until the media's attention on him diminishes and his work is not compromised.

However, we can’t blame the media for all the fuss that Miranda's new marriage has caused, as the country singer surprised her fans over the weekend by announcing that she had married Brendan after the romance they had in secret.

“In honor of Valentine's Day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for.... me," she announced on Instagram, along with pictures of their wedding day.

Miranda and Brendan walked down the aisle on January 26 in Davidson County, Tennessee. However, the couple will not have the opportunity to live under the same roof for the time being as long as he has to meet his strict work commitments from 9 to 5.

Since her wedding, it has been reported that Brendan will remain in New York while Miranda continues to live in Tennessee. The singer will be the one who will visit her man regularly due to his recent promotion to sergeant.

This reminds us of the rumors that emerged reporting about Brendan having a baby with another woman a few months before their marriage and many stories about his affair with his exes.
