Award-winning actress, Nicole Kidman shares a lovely message to Mom, Janelle as she clocks a year older.

Nicole's love for her mum is something every fan can attest to. The 51-year-old who has on several occasions acknowledged her mother's influence on her career warmed hearts at the Golden Globes Awards in January when she shouted out to Janelle.

In her speech at the awards ceremony, she made it clear that all of her achievements in the movie industry and beyond that to the world of women are possible just because of her mother's influence.

"My momma was an advocate for the women's movement when I was growing up, and because of her, I am standing here. My achievements are her achievements. Antonia, my sister, and I say thank you, Janelle Kidman." said the actress.

It seems like Nicole picked up from where she stopped at the Golden Globes when she posted pictures with her Mum on Instagram, saying, "Happy birthday, Mumma. You are so loved."

More than being an advocate for human rights, Janelle Kidman worked as a nurse and continues to work as a great mum.

The pictures were from Janelle's days as a nurse. In both images, the actress's Mum looked very beautiful; one could mistake Janelle for Nicole in the second picture.

Over 140,000 fans liked the picture and many commented, pointing out that the actress looked so much like her mother. Fans and friends of the actress made sure to drop prayers and well wishes for Janelle.

Many others, talking about the Mum-daughter resemblance further wrote about how obvious Nicole's resemblance with her mother was in a video she posted on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday.

The footage was taken while she was doing a campaign shoot for "Swisse" in Sicily. Nicole became an ambassador for the Australian Healthcare company in 2013 shortly after the company announced her as their first global ambassador in 2012.

Nicole stands out as one of Australia's most successful ladies and for all of her success, she thanks her mum for being a big inspiration.
