The post was an animated illustration of Robin’s classic genie alongside a Will Smith genie; he gave credit for the picture to the renowned artist, Luigi Lucarelli.

“I know Genies don’t have Feet… But you left some Big Shoes to fill. R.I.P., Robin! And Thank You, @helloluigi Love the artwork!” Will captioned the image.

Disney is producing the new movie starring the "Bad Boys" actor, and the social media post came a few hours after the trailer for the film was released.

To leave fans drooling in anticipation, the actor who plays a significant role in the movie took to his Instagram account to show his excitement after watching the complete version of the film.

“I just saw the Finished version of #Aladdin!! IT IS FIRE; I AM HYPED!!! I can’t wait for y’all to see it. But for now… Here’s the full trailer!” Will Smith.

The buzz surrounding the movie is because the original "Aladdin" movie caused Robin to delve into voice acting; before that, it was strictly voice actors who took the roles.

Robin Williams pioneered voice acting, and now other stars are seen taking up voice acting roles in movies such as "Shrek," "Brave," "Madagascar," etc.

It's no wonder Will Smith paid homage to the late actor, in a recent interview, he spoke about the challenges involved in playing such an epic role and measuring up to the standard Robin set with his genie character.

“Because the genie is timeless, you get to really say and do anything, so I started to feel confident that I could deliver something that was an homage to Robin Williams but was musically different. And just the flavor of the character would be different enough and unique enough that it would be in a different lane versus trying to compete,” Will said.

The fact that he could infuse his personality into the genie made it easier for him to get into character, so fans should get ready to see a hip and fashion savvy genie!

The movie which is set to be released in cinemas nationwide on 24th of May promises to keep fans on the edge of their seats. They’ll love it!

Robin Williams did not just leave a trail of epic movies behind; his legacy goes beyond that. The late actor who tragically died of suicide is described as full of life, and his excitement and happiness were contagious.

Williams started his career from a church basement in his hometown in San Francisco and rose to be a Hollywood big shot.

Robin was known for his many acts of kindness; he once wrote a letter to a colleague's school to ease the pressure they were putting on her. The institution framed the message eventually, and Lisa Jakub, who was the co-worker said in an interview: “Robin stood up for me.”

Apart from acting, he was engaged in numerous charity works, married Susan, and together they have three kids: Zak, Zelda, and Cody.
