A video captured by photographer Elder Ordonez and posted to Instagram showed the couple walking the red carpet together.

Keely, wearing a black lace dress and heels, walked closely beside Pierce as they arrived with security. He looked sharp in a dark blue suit, white shirt, light blue tie, and brown shoes.

Viewers quickly commented on her appearance. One remarked critically, "Something wrong with his wife look at the way she walks," while another observed, "She's really lost some weight."

Many others, however, responded with support and admiration. One admirer wrote, "She looks great but he loves her no matter what her size xx [sic]," while another chimed in, "She's really lost weight. Looks wonderful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️."

Others kept it simple, describing her as "fabulous." Another appreciated her poise and called Pierce "amazing" for always standing by her side. "She looks great," another said of Keely.

Another commenter emphasized that she looked beautiful regardless of her size. One person echoed this sentiment, suggesting Keely may have felt pressured to lose weight due to ongoing negative media coverage of her appearance.

As netizens reacted to Keely's appearance, attention also started shifting to the show itself — especially Pierce's role in the new series.

The highly anticipated series "MobLand" premiered on Paramount Plus on March 30, drawing attention for its gritty storyline and powerhouse cast, including Pierce, Helen Mirren, and Tom Hardy. But despite the show's drama and impressive visuals, fans quickly focused on one unexpected issue: Pierce's accent.

Set in London, "MobLand" dives deep into the violent world of two feuding crime families—the Harrigans and the Stevensons. The show revolves around Harry Da Souza, a street-smart fixer caught in a war for control that puts loyalty and legacy on the line.

Pierce plays a key figure in this dark web of crime and betrayal, but viewers are already questioning one major part of his portrayal. While some praised the show's gripping first episode, many couldn't ignore what they called a distracting and poorly executed accent.

On X, one person wrote, "Everything is excellent. I'm hooked right in... except Pierce Brosnan's accent... my god no one thought it was awful... its distractingly diabolical. I will try and get over it cos everyone else is brilliant and he looks great.. it's just the diddly duddly accent [sic]!!"

Another comment simply said, "Brosnan's accent is dreadful. A shame as it is a constant distraction."

The criticism didn't stop there. On Instagram, a viewer posted, "I tried. I really tried. I wanted to like it. But Brosnan's fake accent is sooooo bad it is just not watchable. Mirren's is pretty bad too. But I dunno who let this get out with those horrible fake brogues. Just sad [sic]."

One fan went even further, calling the accent, "a horror for the ages indeed."

One posted, "BAFTA nomination for Pierce Brosnan: Worst Irish Accent by an Irishman #mobland." Another joked, "How does british Helen Mirren have a better Irish accent than Irish Pierce Brosnan in Mobland 😂 [si]c." Others kept it brief, writing, "Watching the first episode of Mobland. Very Good. Pierce Brosnan accent is horrific."

Another viewer shared a harsher critique, "Watched it once. Never again. The story is all over the place. The worst part is the over done dialog accent. It's difficult to follow the story when you can't understand what the hell they are saying. Like they have marbles in their mouth [sic]."

Pierce, however, has opened up about being Irish, saying it's a "tapestry of mystic, Celtic, melancholic beauty." During a press tour interview with JOE, he praised fellow Irish talents like Cillian Murphy, whom he called a "brilliant man," along with Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal.

Additionally, when asked which cuisine he preferred between Irish and English food, Pierce picked Irish without question. He also said, "There’s an inner strength within the people."

In a separate interview, Pierce explained why the accent may not come as naturally as some might think. Although born in County Louth, he moved to London at age 10, where he was nicknamed "Irish" at school and quickly buried his native accent to assimilate.

"Now it's in the very distant past because of living in California," he said. To prepare for "MobLand," he worked with a dialect coach who used tapes of an unnamed Irish politician to help rebuild the accent.

"I just jumped in with both feet and that's how Conrad was created," Pierce said, adding that the show's writer began shaping the script around the musicality of that voice.

Despite this backlash, the show's premise continues to intrigue. The clash between the Harrigans and Stevensons promises more betrayal, action, and power plays as the season unfolds, with one episode premiering every week on Sundays. Whether Pierce Brosnan's performance will improve — or continue to distract — remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, this isn't the first time people have talked about the actor this week. As reported previously, he recently stepped out with his granddaughter, Isabella Smith, for a rare public appearance, and the resemblance between her and her late mother, Charlotte Brosnan, is striking.

Isabella bears a striking resemblance to her late mother, Charlotte. Much like her mother, Isabella has blonde hair that cascades in soft waves, framing her delicate features. Her well-defined cheeks, expressive eyes, and warm smile mirror Charlotte’s, making their likeness unmistakable.

Additionally, Isabella's striking resemblance to her late mother is a poignant reminder of the beloved daughter Pierce lost far too soon. Charlotte passed away from ovarian cancer in 2013 at the age of 41, the same illness that claimed her mother, Cassandra Harris, in 1991.

The loss was devastating for Pierce, who had adopted Charlotte and her brother Christopher after their father’s passing.

At the time of her death, Pierce spoke of Charlotte's unwavering strength, saying she fought the disease with "grace and humanity, courage and dignity." She was surrounded by loved ones in her final moments, including her husband Alex, her children Isabella and Lucas, and her brothers Christopher and Sean.

Pierce has since been open about his grief, calling cancer a "wretched disease", and has used his platform to advocate for greater awareness and research in hopes of finding a cure.

Now, as Isabella steps into the public eye, she carries not only her mother's legacy but also a powerful reminder of the love and resilience that have defined her family’s journey.
