Donald Trump Jr Unleashed a Tweetstorm on Democrats after Mueller's Controversial Report

The Robert Mueller Report has been concluded with results showing that the Trump campaign didn’t collude with Russia during the elections. In response, Donald Trump Jr. posted on Twitter to celebrate the ruling.

Part of his celebrations included mocking Democrats who’d been outspoken about the report.

Donald Trump Jr. attacked a number of people on Sunday while celebrating the ruling that his father, President Donald Trump and his Administration weren’t guilty of colluding with Russia during the 2016 election. One of the people he mocked was House Representative Adam Schiff.

Donald Jr. wrote on Twitter:

“Has anyone heard from slimy Adam #fullofschiff Schiff today? I mean it must be embarrassing to have have [sic] spent the last 2 years as the leader of the tinfoil hat brigade and have it all come crashing down so quick. [sic] I’m legitimately concerned for his mental state.”

Schiff is the California Democrat who has been one of the most vocal lawmakers about Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe. He is currently the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

On Sunday, Schiff also responded to the ruling saying:

“Mueller spent two years investigating obstruction of justice and found evidence that “does not exonerate” Trump,' Schiff tweeted on Sunday. Barr took two days to set aside that evidence. The entire report must be published and evidence provided to Congress so the American people can judge for themselves.”

Attorney General William Barr was the one who wrote a short summary of Mueller’s report. In it, he confirmed that the investigation found the president hadn’t colluded with Russia in order to improve his chances of beating Democrat Hillary Clinton.

He further wrote:

“Mueller did not find sufficient evidence to establish conspiracy, notwithstanding Russian offers to help Trump’s campaign, their acceptance, and a litany of concealed interactions with Russia. I trust Mueller’s prosecutorial judgement, [sic] but the country must see the evidence.”

As part of his many tweets over the weekend, the president’s eldest child bashed “collusion truthers in the media and the Democrat Party” who “are only going to double down on their sick and twisted conspiracy theories moving forward.”

Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe wrote in support: “No one should ever take Adam Schiff or Eric Swalwell seriously again.” To which Donald Jr. replied: “Did anyone actually ever take them seriously in the first place?”

He also wrote: "The farce that the Democrats & their media lackeys perpetrated on the American people for over 2 years should never be forgotten!"

The president also tweeted a victory message writing:

“No Collusion, No Obstruction, Complete and Total EXONERATION. KEEP AMERICA GREAT!”

However, the investigations surrounding the president might not be over yet. It’s possible that a number of congressional subpoenas and hearings might be launched by House Democrats to figure out how Mueller came to his findings.

Barr revealed that he’d decided with the Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, to not charge the president. Rosenstein was the person in charge of Mueller's investigation during the majority of its existence.

Barr said that the investigation “did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.” He further wrote, “The special counsel states that ‘while this report does not conclude that the president committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.’”
