TMZ: Britney Spears Reportedly Books into Mental Health Facility

Singer and actress Britney Spears, also known as the Princess of Pop, has been living in a mental health facility for about a week, reported TMZ.

The pop star has been “distraught” lately due to her father’s illness. Even though there are no details of what Jamie Spears has been going through, doctors have performed two surgeries already in their efforts to correct significant issues with his intestines and colon.

TMZ revealed that the second surgery was quite recent and that the man has been suffering complications.

Britney put on hold her Las Vegas residency to take care of her father in November. Unfortunately, the man’s illness might be affecting her emotions.

As a way to fight back, the singer reportedly checked herself into a mental facility “about a week ago,” and she is expected to live there for 30 days. TMZ also reported that Britney has been under a conservatorship since 2008 due to “issues” related to bipolarity.

While Britney has not confirmed that she is living in a mental facility, she shared a photo with a message that confused her followers.
