Eva Marcille's Ex Kevin McCall Arrested for Domestic Abuse
Less than a month after Eva Marcille accused her ex Kevin McCall of stalking, the rapper was arrested on domestic violence charges in Los Angeles on Monday, April 15.
Atlanta Black Star reports that McCall, who shares a daughter with the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, was taken into custody at the Compton Courthouse regarding an incident from January 14.
McCall was reportedly slated to be arraigned in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, April 16, for a summons stemming from felony charges for injuring a spouse or cohabitant. He faces up to four years in state prison, a fine of up to $6,000, or both.
McCall wasted no time calling out his ex on social media, accusing her of using him for a storyline
The California native posted $75,000 bond and records from the sheriff’s department claim McCall was released on Tuesday afternoon. He is due next in court on April 30.
Unlike last month when he went on a Twitter tirade directed at his ex, Marcille, McCall is yet to address his arrest or the charges surrounding it.
It all started after the “RHOA” newcomer told her co-stars that she and her husband, Michael Sterling, have had to move their family often because McCall still stalks her.
Marcille, 34, shares a five-year-old daughter Marley Rae with her ex, who she refers to as “Marley’s donor” and the model has a one-year-old son, Michael Jr., with her husband.
“I still feel a sense of threat. I have had to move five times, and I still feel a sense of uneasiness,” Marcille said of her stalking situation with McCall. “He’s just so petty sometimes. I’ve walked outside of my balcony before, and he’s been standing in the dark. And it is the scariest feeling ever. Every time I move, he finds me.”
McCall, 33, wasted no time calling out his ex on social media, accusing her of using him for a storyline on the Bravo series and implying that she was lying. He even went as far as describing her with a derogatory term.
“It’s sad when she gotta keep using my name for her story line, if I was the husband I would be like “Real hoe of Atlanta is you out your mind, or is you still obsessed with your child’s Father? Why is he in our story line so much ain’t I enuff headline for our relationship?”
McCall shared a series of other tweets ultimately denying Marcille’s accusations, but she did not respond.
Now, fans of the “America's Next Top Model” winner are calling out folks who believed she was lying and pointing at McCall’s latest arrest charges as confirmation of Marcille’s claims.
