Lloyd Bridges' Grandson Is All Grown up and Looks Like His Late Grandfather

Jordan Bridges belongs to the third generation of a dynasty of actors that started with his grandparents, Hollywood legends Lloyd and Dorothy Bridges. He inherited both his late grandfather vocation and good looks.

Actor Lloyd Bridges passed away in 1998 at the age of 85, leaving behind a legacy consisting on more than 200 film roles and a family of actors that includes Jeff and Beau Bridges, with grandson Jordan Bridges being the youngest representative.

45-year-old Jordan, son of Beau, is yet to achieve the star status of his grandfather or his uncle Jeff, but he is a classically trained performer with more than 40 acting credits who is every bit as handsome as the late Lloyd.

A WORKING ACTOR SINCE CHILDHOOD

Never too far from the film and TV industries, Jordan became part of the family business in 1986, when he was in his early teens, in the TV film “The Thanksgiving Promise,” directed by his father and featuring all the actors in the family.

Jordan’s TV credits include roles in “Dawson’s Creek”, “Charmed”, and “Bionic Woman.” He has starred in several romantic movies such as “Samantha: An American Girl Holiday” and the “Love Comes Softly” film series.

The longest-running series Jordan has worked on was TNT’s “Rizzoli & Isles” from 2010 to 2016. He has recently starred in the Hallmark movie “True Love Blooms,” released in March 2019 and directed by Matthew Diamond.

PERSONAL LIFE

Jordan has been married with Carrie Eastman since 2002, and they have two children: daughter Caroline, born in 2003, and son Orson, born in 2005.

Eastman has experience as an actress as well, having starred in the 1995 horror film “Black Silence.”

As a curiosity, Jordan and Eastman had three different wedding ceremonies. Two of them were at the Burning Man arts festival in 2002 and another in 2004, which took place in Hawaii.

Jordan has a close relationship with his Oscar-winning uncle Jeff, known as “The Dude” after his role in “The Big Lebowski” who has served as his mentor and supporter since the beginning.

“The dude has taught me more about life really and kind of surviving as a creative person more than kind of the ins and outs of the business. He’s really given me amazing guidance just as a person.”

“He’s taught me that, he emphasizes the process over the product generally. If I were to kind of simplify and crystallize what I’ve learned from him, I think that’s a big part of his, you know, maybe his philosophy in life,” he said.

“That’s certainly what I’ve got from him is that you throw yourself into the work and you don’t worry about the results or whether or not it’s going to be a hit or whether or not people will love it or whether or not it’s gonna lead to other things,” he added.
