Chrishell Hartley of ‘Days of Our Lives’ Suffered a Painful Family Loss on Easter Sunday

Hollywood celebrity, Chrishell Hartley experienced a tragic loss over the weekend. Easter was not all about celebrations for Hartley as her ailing father who battled cancer for a long time passed on.

Following her father’s death on Easter Sunday, Chrishell took to Instagram to share the disheartening news.

The star posted a throwback snapshot of her and her father as she also included an emotional caption. Hartley wrote:

“We lost you today but it was a long terrible battle with cancer that started taking you years ago. I choose to remember you the way you were never it took its hold on you. You are at peace now, and ever the catholic man at heart, I think you chose Easter for a reason.”

Chrishell’s loss isn’t hers alone as she explains that her late father was the “heartbeat” of the family and would be greatly missed. She concluded:

“I grew up in an unconventional family and my dad was a drummer-the heartbeat of the music. Today we lost the heartbeat of our family but I am happy knowing he took his music to heaven. It just got a lot more rock and roll up there. We love you so much,”

Fans did not leave the “The Young and Restless” actress to her misery as they filled the comment section with words of encouragement while they sympathized with her.

Chrishell Hartley is best known for her roles in NBC’s soap opera, “Days of Our Lives” and “All My Children.” She began her career as a writer on “Days of Our Lives” as she created contents for episodes on the series. She also worked on “The Young and Restless and “All My Children.”

Being a creative writer who understands the art of the screenplay, Hartley can perform excellently as an actress. Her expertise does not come from an alien source as she bagged a degree in Theater Arts after studying at Murray State University.

The 37-year-old is of Spanish and Japanese descent. She is married to actor, Justin Hartley. The two tied the knot in 2017 after dating for three years. Before her marriage with Justin, Chrishell was in a serious relationship with Matthew Morrison whom she got engaged to in 2006, the duo broke off the engagement and went their separate ways the following year.

The death of her father is a big blow to Hartley but with how she worked her way to the top in Hollywood, Chrishell Hartley has shown strength which could help her get through the pain.
