Chris Brown Blasts Wendy Williams after Her Comments on Nicki Minaj Tour

Chris Brown erupted into a major rant at Wendy Williams on Instagram after the talk show host referenced his habitual tardiness.

Chris Brown and Wendy Williams have had a tempestuous relationship over the years, and now it looks like the cease-fire is over.

Brown lashed out at Williams on Instagram after she mentioned his upcoming concert tour with Nicki Minaj, taking umbrage at her remarks.

“OK WENDY ❤️ I DONT SHOW UP LATE THOUGH!! I DO HOWEVER SHOW DA F___ OUT. APPRECIATE DA PUB. WHEN U BROKEN.. u live in da shade… "

HOW THE TROUBLE BEGAN

This latest spat between the celebrities began innocuously enough when Wendy Williams talked up Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown's concert tour,

The two artists have recently announced a joint tour for this summer after the release of their track “Wobble Up.” Williams talked up the tour but hinted at Brown's habitual tardiness.

CHRIS BROWN REFERRED TO WENDY WILLIAMS' PERSONAL TRIALS

In his rant, Brown rather inelegantly lashed out at Williams, referencing her recent very public troubles with her unfaithful husband and sojourn in a sober living facility.

"APPRECIATE DA PUB. WHEN U BROKEN.. u live in da shade… JUST KNOW I SAW THE COMPLIMENT IN BETWEEN THE DEMONS. thanks boo,” he ranted.

THE CELEBRITY FEUD STARTED IN 2009

The hostilities between Williams and Brown started in 2009. Brown fired the opening salvo by posting a comment on Twitter saying that the talk show host looked like a man.

The sharp-tongued Williams responded immediately, referencing Browns assault of then-girlfriend Rhianna:

“Well, you know what? At least if I was a man I would spend my time bullying other men, perhaps, and not other women!” she replied.

The antagonists rejoined battle in 2013, and although Williams stood up for Brown over his custody battle for his daughter Royalty and the recent accusations of sexual abuse, the rapper has never forgiven her for the insult to his masculinity.

Chris Brown's tour mate, Nicki Minaj, also fell afoul of Wendy Williams' acerbic tongue in September 2018, after getting involved in a catfight with Cardi B during Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party, for New York Fashion Week.

The two women let it fly at the prestigious event after Nicki allegedly made an unpleasant comment about her baby daughter Kulture.

Wendy Williams expressed her disgust saying she was “embarrassed” by the rapper's behavior which she felt reflected badly on the whole African American community.

“I’m embarrassed for both of you, as far as I’m concerned there’s no winner.” she said.

During the lamentable incident, Cardi B had to be forcibly restrained from hitting Minaj and resorted to throwing a shoe at the rapper, hobbling out of the event in disarray, on one solitary stiletto.
