DADDY DIDDY BECOMES "MOMMY"
The reeling Diddy stepped up to the plate and went onto "mommy mode" doing his best to step into the inimitable Porter's role as a pillar of the family, the heart of their blended “unconventional family.
DIDDY COMB'S BLENDED FAMILY
Porter and Diddy share son Christian, 20, and the twins D'Lila Star and Jessie James, 12.
The family also includes Porter’s son with singer Al B. Sure!, Quincy Brown, 27, and Diddy’s son with celebrity stylist Misa Hylton Brim, Justin Combs, 25.
Diddy's 12-year-old daughter, Chance, whom he shares with Chapman, was born just weeks before the twins, giving rise to Porter and the rapper's breakup.
“That betrayal really affected Kim. There were days I thought I may have lost my best friend. The healing took time,” said Diddy.
Sadly, though the couple was in a good place, Porter passed away before Diddy could reconcile with the love of his life.
FRIENDS RALLY TO SUPPORT THE COMBS FAMILY
It is at times of grief and loss that the support of friends and family becomes invaluable.

On the occasion what would have been Porter's birthday, one of her closest friends, singer Mary J. Blige, spent the day with her children and Sean "Diddy" Combs.
Diddy posted an adorable photo on Instagram showing Blige with D'Lila Star, Jessie James, and Chance, referring to the "Take Me As I Am" singer as "family."
