Meghan Markle’s Nephew Reportedly Injured in a 20-Person Brawl Just Hours before She Gave Birth
Meghan Markle’s 26-year-old nephew, Tyler Dooley got “shoved to the ground” during a big bar fight on Friday night, but reportedly denied explaining how he sustained his leg injury.
Mere 48 hours before Meghan gave birth to their yet-unnamed son, Grants Pass Police Department responded to a heated brawl that broke out in front of the Wonder Bur Lounge bar in Grants Pass, Oregon on Friday night at about 11:15 pm. During the chaos, Tyler got pushed over and reportedly injured himself.
“Units responded to a physical disturbance at the location involving 15 to 20 people. Suspects were unknown and (Mr) Dooley was shoved to the ground,” a Grants Pass Police Department spokesman told The Sun.
By the time police officers arrived at the bar, the “large fight” had broken up, and no arrests got made. There was also no suggestion that Tyler, who had bouncers in London confiscate a knife from him after Meghan’s wedding in May last year, did anything wrong.
When Tyler spoke to The Sun, he referred to the police department’s version of events as “not entirely accurate” and insisted that he did not get injured “during a fight” and that he also did not get involved in the fight that was “completely separate” from him.
The 26-year-old, however, declined to reveal how he injured his leg. But he did voice his opinion on the state of the Markle family matters to The Sun Online in December last year.
To Tyler, who is Meghan’s half brother, Thomas Markle Jr.'s son, his father and aunt, Samantha Markle sold Meghan out in the media and called them an “embarrassment” to the family.
Tyler, from MTV’s “The Royal World” elaborated, “It was never like we had a super tight-knit family before, to be honest. But the fact that now the whole world gets to see how my father or Aunt Samantha behaves, it is like an open wound for everyone to see.”
The cannabis farmer also felt that having to deal with a lack of privacy made it hard to cope with as he added:
“That's the hardest part, the fact that there is no privacy. It is hard to deal with. It is embarrassing and sad all at the same time. My father and Aunt Samantha have sold my grandfather out, sold my family out, sold Meghan out. It has been hard to deal with.”
Meanwhile, Tyler’s father, Thomas Markle Jr. responded to baby Sussex’s birth announcement with a heartfelt message wherein he also stated his wishes that the newborn could help in bringing the broken family back together again.
