Jason Momoa Speaks out about His Decision to Shave off His Iconic Beard

During a fun-filled session on the Ellen DeGeneres talk-show, famous actor, Jason Momoa, revealed why he took the bold step of cutting off his renowned, remarkably long beard.

Jason Momoa, who is widely known for his role as “Khal Drogo” in the fan-favorite series, “Game of Thrones,” was allowed to show off his ax throwing skills during "The Ellen Show" and he also spoke out on why he decided to shave his 7-year-old beard.

Although it was Jason’s first time on the show, he quickly gained the attention of the audience with his charisma and of course, his new look.As per reports, ax-throwing is one of Jason’s hobbies, and to that effect, the “Aquaman” star was a natural choice for an ax-throwing tutor for Ellen (the talk-show host).

Jason explained:

“So here's the thing, we throw baseballs and footballs like this, everyone kind of turns it when they throw, this has to go straight over your head.”

At the end of their entertaining and physical session, Jason was able to win a whopping sum of $31,000 for charity due to his expertise in hurling axes at targets!

On the issue of his new look, Jason admitted that his recent movie roles have elevated him to a figure of influence and that he plans on using that influence to help turn the world around for good!He said:

“I’m Aquaman now, and I have all these little beautiful kids come up to me, and I never thought I’d be a role model…I wanted to kind of save the planet from single-use plastics.”

He expressed his fears over the excessive use of plastic bottles and containers and how the statistics concerning these unrecyclable materials kept worsening over the years.

To create awareness on this pressing issue, the Actor shared a video of his hair- themed make-over and succeeded in gaining the attention of his fans, supporters and the world at large. In the video’s caption, Jason appealed to the public’s conscience and urged everyone to switch to “INFINITELY RECYCLABLE aluminum.”

Over the years, Jason has had a fascinating acting career, and his success in Hollywood seems to have overshadowed the other aspects of his life from his fans.

Jason, who was born in Hawaii but raised in Iowa by his Mom, reportedly started as a marine biologist, lifeguard, and even surfer, before he later pivoted to modeling years ago. Jason is more than meets the eye and doesn’t seem like someone that’ll give up on his world-changing dream!
