Beth Chapman Shares Wedding Pictures on Their 13th Anniversary
Beth Chapman of "Dog The Bounty Hunter" celebrated the thirteenth anniversary of her marriage to Duane "Dog" Chapman recently and took the celebration to Instagram.
She posted throwback photos of their Hawaiian wedding with the caption "A flashback to thirteen years ago; a couple of my favorites."
The first picture showed her walking down a flight of stairs holding a bouquet. In the second, Duane is seen standing on a wooden platform placed between two rowing canoes.
In the third, Beth zoomed in on their two children — Bonnie and Gary Chapman — standing in front of the just wedded couple. The third showed a family picture, with Leland Chapman — Duane's son from his first marriage to La Fonda Sue Honeycutt — standing beside his father.
The TV star's followers showered the bounty hunters with goodwill. They recalled watching the wedding ceremony during season three of the show and wished the couple many more happy years together. Others called Beth beautiful and inspiring, writing that she does not appear to have aged at all over the years.
The bounty hunting couple were together for sixteen years before getting married. A day before the ceremony, Duane's daughter — Kathy Chapman, 23 — died from a car accident in Fairbanks, Alaska.
According to "Today," the television personality gathered his family together and had a candid discussion, after which they decided to celebrate the wedding and her life; Duane was 53 at the time.
He wore white jeans and a leather vest of the same color, while his bride wore an off-white lace wedding gown by Eduardo Lucero; the ceremony took place at Hilton Waikoloa Village.
In all the years they've been together, Beth and Duane have survived some difficulties, with the most recent being her battle with throat cancer. She is staying positive with the help of her family and all the goodwill she is getting from her fans; the reality star continues to help out with the family business.
Apart from bounty hunting, the Chapmans' are involved in the bail bonds industry, and their Matriarch is also an actress and a producer; she is equally a great-grandmother.
Beth and Duane were unable to celebrate their anniversary due to bad weather in Colorado, but on the bright side, they'll always have each other through the storms that come their way.
