Wisconsin Coach Howard Moore's Wife, Daughter Killed in Car Crash
Wisconsin basketball coach was seriously injured and his wife and his 9-year-old daughter were killed in a horrific car crash.
Howard Moore, the University of Wisconsin assistant men's basketball coach, was involved in a tragic car accident with his family on May 25, 2019.
The family was driving to Ann Arbor, Michigan when they were involved in a head-on collision with a car driving the wrong way.
HEAD-ON COLLISION SHATTERS FAMILY
Moore's wife, Jennifer, his daughter Jaidyn, 9, and the driver of the other car were killed in the crash.
Moore, 46, and his 13-year-old son Jerell survived, and are being treated at the University of Michigan Hospital. Reports indicate that the family's dog also died in the accident.
Moore and his young son are out of danger, and are expected to make a full recovery.

Moore and his family were well-liked on campus, and hundreds have responded to the news of the accident with heartfelt grief.
"Howard is so much more than a colleague and coach. He and Jen and their children are dear friends to everyone they meet. Their positivity and energy lift up those around them. We will miss Jen and Jaidyn dearly and we will put our arms around Howard and Jerell and the entire family, giving them love and support during this unspeakable time." said Head coach Greg Gard.
HOWARD MOORE'S DEEP CONNECTION TO UW
Moore's life has been closely linked with the University's nearly 30 years. Moore joined the school as a student-athlete, left, and returned to assist in coaching after spending five seasons as head coach at the University of Illinois.
The University was his home, and the community has pledged its support to him in his hour of grief.

Moore and his young son are out of danger, and are expected to make a full recovery.
The worse will come when the bereaved father and son have to take up the threads of their lives without their wife and mother, daughter and sister.
The date of the memorial service and funerals for Jennifer and Jaidyn Moore have yet to be announced, but an outpouring of love and support from the sports community and the University has been forthcoming for Moore and his surviving child.
YOUNG MOTHER TRAGICALLY KILLED IN A FALL
Malaysia Goodson, 22, was tragically killed by a fall in a Manhattan subway station while carrying a stroller with her 1-year-old baby in it.
Police responded to a 911 call summoning them to the 7th Avenue subway and reporting that a woman was unconscious inside.
They found Goodson unconscious on the southbound train platform next to her 1-year-old daughter, Rhylee. The baby was unharmed.
The young woman was rushed to Mt. Sinai West where she was later pronounced dead. Police believe Goodson fell while attempting to descend with her arms full of shopping bags, as well as the stroller with her baby in it.
