T.I.’s Older Sister Precious Harris Dead at Only 66 Following Alleged Serious Car Accident

T.I.'s sister succumbs to her death after suffering complications from a car accident over a week ago. Her children mourn her death and shared heartfelt tributes.

T.I.’s family is mourning the death of his sister Precious Harris who passed away at the age of 66.

Precious had been fighting for her life for over a week following a serious car accident. Her daughter, Kamaya Chapman, shared a touching tribute shortly after her death expressing how “heartbroken” she feels.

“From my bestfriend on earth to My beautiful angel in heaven. Mama girl you know ima miss you…. I love you so much. I’m so heartbroken but the way you looked so @ peace this past week has confirmed that you are resting… no more asthma attacks… damn but baby I am going to miss you.”

Precious is T.I.’s older sister and they are reportedly very close. She would often appear on T.I.’s family reality shows. In the days leading to her death, T.I. took to his Instagram to proclaim his love for her while hanging on to hope that she’ll make it through.

“I Love You Sis,” he wrote in his first post sharing a photo of the two of them. “We can’t thank you enough. #MyBiggestFan,” he added.

In another post the day before Precious died, he simply wrote, “We Love You Dear Baby Girl…”

According to previous reports, Precious figured in a car accident in Atlanta where her vehicle hit a pole. This resulted in an asthma attack. She’s been unresponsive in the ICU ever since.

Precious is survived by her three children – Kamaya, Avis Champan-Reese and Kareem “Plug” Chapman. The latter also took to his social media to commemorate his mother.

“I got to spend 38 amazing years with this Angel but today my Mom made her transition to be with the Lord. Cherish your time yall as my mom @preciousharris1913 did! She danced, she loved and most importantly she LIVED. Im gone miss the s— out of this woman! Pray for our family, myself @kamayadaplug@troubleman31 @the.leading.man.”
