America's first daughter, Ivanka Trump, and her family went away from Washington D.C. over the weekend, for Memorial Day. It appears they traveled to the Trumps' family private resort — Mar-a-Lago — in Miami, Florida.

Ivanka shared a photo of her sons — Theodore, 3, and Joseph, 5 — with their father, Jared Kushner, watching the fireworks light up the sky on Instagram. In another photo, the first daughter paid tribute to the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. She wrote that the nation remembers their sacrifice and thanked the "Heroes" for keeping them safe and ensuring they enjoy their freedom.

Apart from the fireworks display, the family-of-five spent time outdoors enjoying each other's company, and earlier in the day, Ivanka shared an image on her Instagram story, of her and husband looking casual. She dressed down in a jean dress, while Kushner opted for a buttoned-down shirt on navy blue slacks. However, the couple's daughter, Arabella, 7, was not seen in any of the pictures her mother posted on social media.

Upon returning from the family get way, Ivanka will join her father, President Trump, and step-mother, Melania Trump, for a State visit to London. The President's adult children — Donald Jr., Eric, and Tiffany Trump, will also accompany him on the visit. While in the U.K, they will attend a banquet hosted by the Queen in honor of President Trump at Buckingham Palace.

The visit by Ivanka and the First family is coming two years after the President got the official invitation, and the President is taking his children with him to introduce them to the Royal family, as they hold key positions in his administration.

In an interview with "The Atlantic," the POTUS revealed he was proud of his children and what they've accomplished politically and in business. He described his oldest daughter — Ivanka — as unique, adding that if she ever wanted to be President, she will be a hard candidate to defeat.

Ivanka, since her father took office, has resumed work as a senior aide in the White House and embarked on campaigns targeted at helping women and American Workers. She recently got "Salesforce" to pledge to train 1 million American workers as part of her "Pledge to American Workers" campaign.

At her meeting with the CEO of "Salesforce," Marc Benioff, she wore a red buttoned down dress with pointy pumps and shared a picture of her time with him on Twitter. With this achievement, Ivanka continues to show that she is committed to the American people despite the criticisms that trail her father's Presidency.
