Rihanna Recruits Mom to Hype New Fashion Line in Layered Dress & Fenty Sunglasses
Rihanna is expanding her empire, launching her first clothing line in a couple of days. The singer recruited her beautiful mom to model for her in a layered dress and stylish sunglasses.
Rihanna's first clothing line has just launched, and she's been heavily promoting it on Instagram. After all, her best advertiser and model has always been herself. However, after quite a while, she decided it was time to put someone else on the face of Fenty, that person being her mother.
Like Mother, Like Daughter
The pop star recruited her mom, Monica, to hype up her clothing line by sharing photos of the two of them modeling together.
Her youthful mother sported a pair of square-shaped glasses, a floral tiered dress, and pale blue pointed shoes.
The newest addition to Fenty empire includes ready-to-wear clothes, shoes, jewelry, sunglasses, and other small accessories. Indeed, Rihanna has taken time off the entertainment industry to grow her business empire, something that began with makeup, and later on, lingerie.
She gave fans a sneak peek of her first collection in a pop-up store that opened in Paris, which occurred just a couple of days before the entire collection launched online.
Rihanna's Personal Style
In true Fenty fashion, the clothing line revolves around neutral colors, specifically white, tan, light pink, and dark denim. Her clothes include suit jackets, dress shirts, and tailored slacks that are inspired not only by Rihanna's personal style but menswear in general, as she hopes to break clothing stereotypes and have women dress up in different ways, too.
According to Rihanna, whatever she launches, she uses herself. That is why every single piece of her collection is tailored from something that she would wear, and something that she looks good at. She says that if there's no feeling of passion and love in a piece, it won't make the cut.
Now, people are raving over her new collection, which is definitely another hit from her huge Fenty empire.
Congratulations, Riri!
