"It's incredible to be back in Canada. Canada couldn't be more appropriate to host the first Winter Games. Everyone is so excited," the Duke of Sussex revealed.

Canada was the first nation to host the Invictus Games twice and was where the prince and his wife, Meghan Markle, made their first public appearance as a couple.

February 9 Monochrome and Subtle Nods to Royal History

The morning of February 9 saw a softer, earth-toned approach as Markle attended a special story time event for children of Invictus Games participants.

She embraced a tonal olive-green palette, styling DOÊN's Emmalyn sweater — a piece from the California-based brand no longer available — with a ribbed cashmere skirt from La Ligne.

She complemented the ensemble with her trusted olive green Celia pumps from Ralph Lauren, previously worn for Prince Louis' christening ceremony in 2018.

Adding a sentimental touch, Markle debuted a new gold-plated bracelet from Valencia Key, engraved with the word "Joy," seamlessly blending high-end luxury with meaningful, personal accessories.

The blazer's contrasting burgundy collar bore a striking resemblance to one Princess Diana wore in 1985, subtly paying homage to the late royal's enduring influence.

Markle paired the tailored piece with skinny flared jeans from Veronica Beard ($298) and a pair of Stuart Weitzman black suede boots she hadn't worn publicly since 2017.
