Cardi B Rants about Losing 'Millions of Dollars' after Canceling Shows

"Health is wealth": Cardi B faced the facts when she was forced to admit her recent health issues lost her actual money. The star took to Instagram Live to divulge just how much money she is losing after canceling shows to heal.

On Monday, Cardi B hosted an Instagram Live session to discuss her canceled performances and the implications of her actions. She admitted that by canceling a string of performances she is losing a lot of money.

The rant actually started with Cardi speaking candidly with her fans. She began by explaining that after giving birth to her daughter Kulture, Cardi decided to have breast augmentation and liposuction procedures.

She admitted that instead of heeding the advice of physicians, she had decided to continue her hectic tour schedule. According to reports, she suffered painful swelling that eventually impeded her ability to move as a result.

This eventually forced her to postpone multiple performances. During her Instagram live, the singer went into detail about what prompted her to get the surgeries.

"I do whatever the [expletive] I want to do with my body," Cardi began. "I don't have the time of day like you do. My job as an entertainer is a 24-hour job, bro. So no I don't have time to work out. I wanted specific things that I know that no matter how much I work out won't get fixed."

She then went into detail about the health issues caused by the surgeries. She explained that the stitches inside her breasts are still healing and clarified that the doctors strictly instructed her to take time off to eliminate any further health or legal problems.

The singer was clearly disappointed with canceling the shows. She took her opportunity on the video to divulge the details of how much she is losing with her decision to take a break. At the 1:50-minute mark of the video, she says,

"I hate canceling shows because I love money. I'm a money addict. And I get paid a lot of money, a lot of money for these shows. A lot of money. I'm canceling millions of dollars in shows, but health is wealth so I have to do what I have to do."

Nevertheless, the star is not letting the set back hold her back. Earlier this month the doting mom lavished her little girl with some seriously sparkly bling.

The controversial rapper doled out a whopping $80,000.00 to buy her 10-month-old baby daughter Kulture diamond jewelry. Her daughter will be no stranger to luxury when she grows up.

In a since-deleted Instagram post, Cardi B showed a photo of several diamond tennis bracelets, in silver, gold and rose gold. In the pic was also a pair of diamond stud earrings.
