Tiffany Haddish Is Open to Filming Nude Scenes under These Conditions
The comic actress gathered for a roundtable talk with other comedy actress and made some candid remarks about nudity on screen.
Tiffany Haddish explained that she doesn’t mind shedding her clothes or going full nude on screen because she thinks of her body as a “flesh suit.”
Speaking during “The Hollywood Reporter’s Comedy Actress Roundtable,” she stated, “I mean, I’m just borrowing this flesh suit. I am going to give this back to the Lord anyway. Might as well share it if I can feed my family and whatnot.”
However, there are certain conditions that must be fulfilled before she would agree to get nude for a scene.
Haddish’s first condition is that the nude scene should be for some “classy situation” rather than merely “super-raunchy nasty stuff.”
The 39-year-old actress revealed that her second condition for going nude is that the scene should be “freakin’ hilarious.”
Her final condition for doing a nude scene is that she has to be rightly paid for doing the scene. “...I better be getting paid,” she clearly stated on the show.
Haddish added that money is the primary reason that she hasn’t done a nude scene yet. “Because ain’t nobody came with the right kind of money,” she said.
Haddish recently also appeared on the talk show, “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman,” to open up about some intimate details about her mother.
Most known for her light-hearted spirit, Haddish showed her emotional side as she talked about her childhood.
When she was just 8 years old, her mother had to learn to walk, talk, and eat all over again after going through a dangerous car accident.
“I didn’t want to be with my mom no more,” she recalled. “She had become very violent and very verbally abusive. You never knew who she was going to be. Every day was like a different day.”
Haddish recently also made headlines for joining Beyonce’s mother, Tina Lawson, for a bake-off contest held at Lawson’s home.
