OBAMA ON TWERKING WOMEN

More recently, Barack Obama referenced the popular dance step when he spoke to young African men during an engagement hosted by his initiative, “My Brother’s Keeper.”

The former president, in voicing his opinion about Black culture and how this affects self-worth debunked the stereotype that men often aspire for in order to gain respect. He said,

"If you are very confident about your sexuality, you don't have to have eight women around you twerking . . . because [you know], 'I've got one woman, who I am very happy with. And she's a strong woman.'"

Obama’s message drew laughter in the audience as well as from his co-speaker, NBA star, Steph Curry. Both are perfect examples of confident men who don’t need many women to boost their manhood. Barack has been married to his wife Michelle Obama for 26 years and counting. Meanwhile, Steph thrives in being a family man in his 7-year marriage to Ayesha Curry.
