51-year-old Australian actress Nicole Kidman addressed the subject of her two younger daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret having a small part in one o the episodes of the follow-up season to HBO miniseries “Big Little Lies” recently.

Kidman and her co-stars were giving a cast interview to promote the show’s Season 2 when she was asked about it by Network 10’s Angela Bishop, who couldn’t help but notice the names of the two girls, aged 8 and 10, in the credits.

AT WORK WITH MOM

“Are they? They shouldn’t be in the credits!” a comically surprised Kidman replied, before sharing a little about how this came to be and how her daughters feel about their involvement.

“I just wanted them to be at work with me. They were there the day Reese got the ice cream truck for my birthday so they were thrilled,” the mother-of-four said.

Nevertheless, as she also revealed, both girls would have liked to play more significant parts than what they were offered. They played a pair of nameless schoolgirls in a classroom.

“They did get their faces in the classroom (scene) actually, which they are like, ‘eh, I wish I had a bigger role,’” Kidman admitted.

Following Kidman’s intervention, she received positive feedback about her daughters from her co-stars, with Reese Witherspoon gushing about how cue Sunday and Faith were while on set.

“I was very moved just because I remember being the exact same age on set, being an extra in a movie with my mum. It was really touching to me,” fellow actress Laura Dern added.

Following a very successful debut season in 2017, when the show took home four Emmy Awards out of eight nominations, HBO approved “Big Little Lies” for a second season, to premiere on June 10, 2019.

The series, based on Liane Moriarty’s novel of the same name, features an ensemble cast that includes Kidman, Witherspoon, Dern, Shailene Woodley, and Zoe Kravitz, with the recent addition of acclaimed actress Meryl Streep, who joined them for the upcoming season.

Apart from this candid moment commenting on her daughters’ spending time at work with her, Kidman stole the show on the interview thanks to the impressively flawless and youthful facial skin.

KIDMAN'S YOUTHFUL LOOKS

Looking at her sitting next to Witherspoon, it is hard to believe that she is eight years older than the latter.

Kidman’s youthful look past her 50s has raised suspicion among some people who claim that she has undergone beauty enhancement surgery to achieve it, but this is something the star denies.

While she assured in 2007 that her looks are natural and a result of good nutrition and other healthy habits, in 2011 she admitted to having tried non-surgical aesthetics procedures, including using botox, which she regrets and doesn’t recommend.
