Famous Hollywood star and co-anchor of the program “The View,” Whoopi Goldberg has come out to address the issue of the immigration policy by President Donald Trump.

She compares the efforts of the current president to that of a former president, George Bush, whom she praises for his recommendations and ideas on the issue of immigration.

Recently, the news of no access to English classes along with the absence of other services enjoyed by migrant kids in the United States of America caused a bit of an uproar as co-presenters on the show each had a thing or two to say about policymaking and execution in the Trump Administration.

The iconic African-American actress was among the hosts that condemned President Trump’s reforms on immigration. She made a recap of how “really good” former President George Bush's recommendations were, and how it was turned down. She said:

“The last person who had a really good idea was former President George W. Bush, when he was president, they pooped all over him.”

According to reports, the Health and Human Services Department confirmed that several services, such as a recreational game which includes soccer, English classes, and legal assistance, were “not directly necessary for the protection of life and safety.”

Conversely, during his tenure, former President George Bush applauded the country’s absorbent nature on the issue of immigration at the Presidential Centre in Dallas. He said:

“America’s elected representatives have a duty to regulate who comes in and when, in meeting this responsibility, it helps to remember that America’s immigrant history made us who we are…may we never forget that immigration is a blessing and a strength .”

Another co-anchor on the show, Joy Behar, charged both the Democrats and Republicans to query this policy. She also stated that the current system is “despicable," she said:

“Shouldn’t a lot of the pro-lifers, and people who talk about pro-life, shouldn’t they be protesting this? And also the Democrats, where are the Democrats in all of this. In all of this? I’d like to hear Mrs. Klobuchar, and the rest of them protesting.”

This is not the first time Whoopi is dissatisfied with the decisions of the present administration. When Nikki Haley, an ex-envoy of the President, expressed the various ways the Trump administration viewed the issue of abortion and how it isn't enabling women to make their choices, which is anti-feminism.

In response, Whoopi went on to talk about respecting a person’s choice, and how it is important not to intrude in anybody’s corner. She said:

“…so I don’t understand, I don’t say that everybody has to believe, but I say you want to have a choice, I don’t want you in my coochie! You don’t want me in yours either.”

Celebrities, as well as television hosts, have shared how they feel about the new policy, but it appears that Trump’s plans still stand, this does not change the fact that they keep pushing and striving for a beneficial course for the immigrant children in the US.
