Steve Harvey's Wife Marjorie on What's Really Going on in Their Marriage
Marjorie Harvey made herself clear about what's going on in her marriage to Steve Harvey amid his multiple show cancellations.
Amid all the talk about Steve Harvey losing more than one job, it was rumored that even his marriage to Marjorie Harvey was on the rocks, too.
However, hoping to try and save her husband's reputation, Marjorie made it clear that she and Steve were not getting a divorce, and are stronger than ever despite what people say.
Marjorie, 54, and Steve, 62, have been married for more than a decade, and are loyal and devoted to one another. According to the proud wife, she and her husband don't care about the rumors that surround their marriage, especially since they built their relationship on faith.
Centered in Faith
During an interview with Hollywood Life, Marjorie slammed the rumors of their separation, saying that their relationship is stronger than ever especially during such a difficult time in their lives.
"We're good - always. We're prayed up. Prayer works. We're covered."
Marjorie is a devout Christian just like her husband, and they find comfort and shelter in their faith when they're faced with rumors and challenges that try to break them.
“When God is doing some amazing things in your life, that’s when people get busy. That’s when the devil has all his little things, doing what they do. But, we’re above that. We’re covered,” she shared.
A Humorous Couple
After finding out that people were speculating that they were separating, Marjorie shared a hilarious video on Instagram of their son, Broderick, asking if they were indeed getting a divorce. The couple then exchanges a few words with one another trying to address the rumor, showing how light and humorous they're taking the whole ordeal.
Recently, Marjorie opened up on how she felt about her husband's shows being canceled, seemingly unfazed by the situation. She has been Steve's number one supporter through it all and despite these challenges, she's confident he'll be able to pick himself up again.
The End of an Era
Steve's long-running show will be airing new episodes until June, and re-runs until September before Kelly Clarkson takes over with her own show. The 62-year-old is taking this show cancellation as the end of an era, the closing of another chapter of his story.
“Had some good chapters, had some bad chapters. Had some chapters that lasted a little bit longer than I wanted to. That homeless chapter way too long, … But in this 62nd chapter, I got my finger on the corner of the page. All I’m doing is I’m about to turn it. I can’t wait to see what God got for me on that other page.”
On top of the cancellation of "Steve," Harvey will also stop hosting "Little Big Shots," to be replaced by actress and comedian Melissa McCarthy. NBC co-chairman Paul Telegdy shared that McCarthy will bring a "fresh perspective" on the show, especially since Harvey hosted it for three seasons straight.

Whatever it is Marjorie and Steve have in store for us now that he's freed up a chunk of his time remains a mystery, but they've definitely got some tricks up their sleeve, especially with Marjorie hinting that she's excited for what's to come for her husband. One thing's for sure, though, and that's Marjorie and Steve staying together.
