Competition amongst friends can be very dangerous. Feelings can get hurt in a microsecond and longstanding friendships can end over the silliest thing. But what about when you're immortal?

Three vampires decide to have a competition to prove who's the most vicious vampire among them.

The strongest one started first. "Watch this," he said, and he flew off at about 100 miles/hour. After a measly 10 minutes, he returns with blood all over his mouth.

"What happened?" they ask in surprise.

"Do you see that house over there?" he says. "Well...I killed the entire family and sucked their blood dry!"

The other two are humbled by his strength and viciousness. Then the eldest one gets up.

"Watch and learn," he says to them as he flies even faster, about 120 miles/hour. But after only 5 minutes, he comes back with blood all over his mouth and his neck.

"What happened??" they asked.

"Do you see that village over there? Well...I killed every last man, woman, and child in that village and sucked their blood dry!"

The other two are humbled by the ancient one's strength and violence.

Finally, the fastest among them gets up and declares it's his turn, saying cockily to the other two, "Don't blink or you'll miss it!"

He takes off really fast, even faster than the other two, going at about 140 miles/hour. But after a mere 30 seconds, he comes back with blood all over his mouth, his neck, and his nose.

"Wh..what happened???" they asked.

"Do you see that big tree over there?"

"Ye..yes?!" they both answer.

"Well...I didn't!"

I was not expecting that answer! Did you find this joke funny? Remember to share it with your friends!

Someone else who was being "cocky" in a competition recently was "America's Got Talent" competitor, Lamont Landers.

Simon Cowell stopped the 27-year-old singer mid-song and suggested he return later to audition with something more "risky" than a "wedding song."

Landers was taken aback with the criticism at first, but agreed with the suggestion and returned only hours later to knock the judges' socks off with a whole new song.

In the second audition, Landers showed off his voice's true range and he managed to make it through to the next round.
