Jaleel White Is Bringing Back Steve Urkel for a Classic Reboot

21 years ago, Jaleel White starred as Steve Urkel in "Family Matters." Now, he's set to revive that same character, this time through "Scooby-Doo and Guess who?" which premiered on June 27, 2019, through the Boomerang streaming service.

White shared an exciting teaser of his upcoming project, "Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?" which showed animated renderings of the Scooby Doo crew and Steve himself.

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Role

his latest "Scooby-Doo" cameo is the closest fans could get to a "Family Matters" revival. The fact that two decades later, his character remains to be missed by many just proves how effective he was at his role.

While he continues to be remembered as Steve Urkel, Jaleel has actually worked on many other projects since then. Some of his known works include "Dreamgirls," "Sonic the Hedgehog," "Grown Ups," and a whole lot more.

A graduate of Film from the University of California Los Angeles, the entertainment industry has always been his passion.

Jaleel and his mini-me were actually on set in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he was filming the movie "Faithfully."

Although he split from Samaya's mom, the 41-year-old has been completely hands-on when it comes to raising the little girl. In fact, his life revolves around her and his Instagram feed totally proves that.
