1. Usher Raymond

Usher Raymond IV was born on October 14, 1978. He began singing when he was six years old in the church choir.

Now,  the R&B singer and rapper has sold approximately 30 million albums worldwide. He has won two Grammy Awards, one for Best Male R&B Performance in 2001 and another for Best Male R&B Performance in 2002.

2. Matt Damon

Matt Damon was born on October 8, 1970. He is best friends with Ben Affleck and they have starred together in many films.

The award-winning actor was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on 26 July 2007. He is known for his philanthropy and co-founded H20 Africa to give clean drinking water to three million people in developing countries.

3. Hugh Jackman

Internationally recognized actor, Hugh Jackman was born on October 12, 1968. He bagged a Tony Award as Best Actor (Musical) for his portrayal of Australian singer/songwriter Peter Allen in "The Boy From Oz" in 2004.

Gwen Renee Stefani was born on October 3, 1969. Not only is she a world-famous singer, but she also has her own fashion label named L.A.M.B.

British actress, Kate Winslet was born on October 5, 1975. She broke into the industry at eleven-years-old. 

She once won a Grammy Award for the Best Spoken Word Album for Children. She was also chosen by People magazine as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the World not once but twice. First in 1996 then again in 2004.

7. Sigourney Weaver

Sigourney Weaver was actually named Susan Alexandra Weaver. She was born on October 8, 1949, and her father was a TV Producer and her mother was a former actress.

She went on to become one of the most well-known actresses of her time.  Empire magazine named her as part of their 100 Sexiest Stars in film history.

8. Sharon Osbourne

Sharon Osbourne was born on October 9, 1952.  She became a producer and actress and is well-known for her roles in Austin Powers in Goldmember, Garfield 2 and It's a Boy Girl Thing.

Her marriage to Ozzy Osbourne in July 1982 added to her fame. They have three children together. Sharon once dreamt of being a ballerina.

9. Bruno Mars

Bruno Mars was born on October 8, 1985. He revealed that when he was growing up, he was influenced by Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley.

"I never once said I changed my last name to hide the fact that I'm Puerto Rican... That's so insulting to me, to my family. That's ridiculous. My last name is Hernandez. 10. Julie Andrews

Julia Andrews was born on October 1, 1935. She was actually born Julia Elizabeth Wells but changed her last name from Wells to Andrews after her mother married her stepfather Ted Andrews.

She was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on the 5th of October 1979. Her star is directly in front of the new addition to the Chinese Theatre.
