R. Kelly is back in jail because of his ex-staffers who turned over 20 sex tapes to the FBI which ultimately led to his arrest.

R. Kelly is about to face a lot more charges after his own ex-employees handed over videos of Kelly having sex with underage girls.

Gerald Griggs, the attorney who represents Joycelyn Savage's family among others, reveals to the media that the federal investigation currently run by the Northern District of Illinois uncovered more than 20 videos of Kelly with minors.

TMZ's federal law enforcement sources confirmed the same information that Griggs disclosed, which was that the films showed multiple victims, and most of them were underage.

Staff Betrayal

Griggs also said that a lot of Kelly's former enablers, both past, and present, have turned over tapes to investigators in hopes of giving their former boss' victims the justice they deserve. The tapes were exactly what the FBI needed to secure indictments for sex crimes, which now include child pornography.

Kelly was arrested after a federal grand jury handed over a 13-count indictment, including 4 counts of producing child pornography and 2 counts of receiving child pornography. This is different from his 5-count federal indictment out of the Eastern District of NY for racketeering and 4 violations of the Mann Act.

Not Guilty Plea

Last month, R. Kelly pled not guilty to the 11 counts of sex crimes charged against him in Chicago. On May 30, 2019, he was charged with 11 counts of serious sexual crimes, which his attorney clarified is part of an already existing case.

According to Kelly's lawyer, Steve Greenberg, Kelly is not guilty and he continues to tell the media that the women were lying.

If found guilty, however, Kelly faces a mandatory sentence of between six to thirty years in prison for each accusation.
