Luke Bryan's Wife Caroline Explains Her Refusal to Buy Him a Birthday Present
The couple has been married for over twelve years with ups and downs like any other marriage, but what can’t be denied is that they share an excellent sense of humor.
Luke Bryan celebrated turning 43 years old by taking a break on his summer tour to spend time with his family. His wife Caroline shared a series of funny pictures on her Instagram account and gave him a poem, explaining why she won’t have a birthday present for him this time.
"Roses are red, violets are pleasant, you have everything ... so you get no present! Happy birthday Love Bug !!! I love you to the moon and back. Here's to another year of completely random, classy pictures. #screamingpines " Caroline wrote.
Facing tragedy together as a family
Family is something very important for both, and despite having gone through hard times where tragedy has hit the family, they remain united and support each other all the time. In an interview, Luke shared some hard moments that he has gone through.
When he was 19 years old he was ready to move to Nashville Tennessee to start his career as a singer and on the day he would leave his brother Chris died in a car accident. This made him meditate his decision and return to college, where he met his wife.
Then in 2007, his sister died suddenly and to date, doctors and forensics have not been able to determine the cause of death. Luke says that his sister was a beautiful, sweet and healthy woman, the best mother in the world.
Two years ago his brother-in-law and widower of his sister, also passed away leaving the three children he had with Luke's sister completely orphaned. However, Cristine and Luke didn’t even doubt about adopting the two boys and the girl, it was just like that and there was nothing else to do.
Not only on Luke's side have they faced tragedies. Recently, Christine had to face the loss of someone very close; her seven-months-old niece passed away. It is important to note that Luke spoke of the losses naturally, but also painfully.
Think that this kind of things will take you away or bring you closer to God and both he and his family agree to accept the situations that come by putting on their best face and looking for happiness to enjoy what they still have.
