Jermaine Jackson Allegedly Won't Pay Spousal Support to Halima Rashid in Divorce Battle

The nasty divorce between Jermaine Jackson and his now ex-wife Halima Rashid seems to have come to a conclusion.

Jermaine Jackson and Halima Rashid have finally come to the end what has been a bitter and acrimonious divorce.

According to court documents Jackson and Rashid, who have no children together, were each awarded any property in their possession, but there is to be no spousal support.

EACH PARTNER KEEPS THEIR ASSETS

The agreement stipulates that Rashid her jewelry, clothes, and earnings made before the marriage and after the separation, as well as her bank accounts and her investments.

Jackson will also keep his personal belongings, and all money made prior to the marriage, which includes royalties for his music composed and recorded before the marriage, and after the separation.

Jackson, who has been married three times and has 7 children, revealed that he owes $29,000 in child support to another of his ex-wives.

NO MORE SPOUSAL SUPPORT FOR HALIMA RASHID

The court had previously ordered Jackson to pay Rashid $2,500 a month in temporary spousal support until the divorce settlement was agreed on. This spousal support will now cease.

HALIMA RASHID ARRESTED FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Prior to filing for a divorce, Rashid had been arrested in 2016 on domestic violence charges after she bit Jackson's leg, but the charges were eventually dismissed. Moths later she cited "irreconcilable differences" as the motive for the separation.

It seems as if Rashid has done very well for herself, even if she got nothing in the settlement. According to Jackson his ex-wife transferred $250,000 of their money to a third party and had been collecting his music royalties for years.
