Robin Roberts Is All Smiles While Spending Time with Girlfriend Amber's Family

Robin Roberts dined with her long-time girlfriend's family, and they all appeared to be in high spirits as they smiled for a picture together. She and her girlfriend Amber Laign have been a couple for more than 10 years now.

Robin Roberts and her girlfriend Amber Laign have been together for more than a decade, and they've been through all the highs and lows of life together.

Although Robin Roberts only came out in 2014, she and Amber have been in a secret relationship for years.

A Family's Love

Through the years, their families have accepted their sexualities and made it easy for them to feel welcome in each other's homes.

In fact, Amber's mom once revealed during an interview with The Daily Mail that she and her husband are totally supportive of their relationship.

"We are very, very happy for them. Her dad and I and the whole family are very happy and totally supportive."

Now, they shared one of their special moments together, as they smiled happily for a photo while out eating at a restaurant, showing just how good their relationships are with one another.

A Life of Love

Despite their huge age gap, Roberts being 53-years-old and Laign being 39, this hasn't been a hindrance for them to live life to the fullest.

After being diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome, she reveals that Laign was one of those who stuck through her as she tried to cope with it.

A Silent Love

While Amber would prefer to be out of the spotlight whenever it was possible, there are a few times wherein Robin would show her off just to show appreciation for all that they've been through together.

Regardless of everything she's been through, Robin reveals she's "strong like a bull" and is very thankful and happy for the life she lives with Amber.
