Ron Howard's daughter Bryce followed in his footsteps and not only made a name for herself but also looks quite similar to her famous dad.

Bryce Howard, 38, is not often connected to her well-known father as she's paved her own way in the entertainment industry. Furthermore, Ron stepped away from the limelight during his career.

The 65-year-old is best known for his role on "Happy Days" and as the son of Sheriff Andy Taylor on "The Andy Griffith Show." However, he went into directing and has gained many accolades since then.

His best work is arguably 1970's "Apollo 13," 2001's "A Beautiful Mind," 2003's "The Da Vinci Code," and 2018's "Solo: A Star Wars Story." Ron has also been successful in his personal life.

The filmmaker was lucky enough to marry his teenage darling Cheryl Howard back in 1975 during his time on "Happy Days." He went on to get two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his industry work.

In family life, Ron won big when he welcomed his first daughter in 1981. In 1985, Cheryl gave birth to twin girls Paige and Jocelyn. Two years later, Ron welcomed his first son, Reed.

The kids were raised in a fairly modest environment despite their parents both being Hollywood figures. The couple kept their children away from television for a long time.

However, the kids were familiar with their parents' jobs, and Bryce especially admired her father's work as an actor. By seven, her parents allowed her to be an extra in a few films.

At a young age, Bryce went to summer camp for the performing arts in New York's Stagedoor Manor. Following high school, she attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts among other institutions.

Having gained some experience, Bryce's breakout role came in 2004 in the hit thriller, "The Village." Another breakthrough was in 2010's "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse."

More recently, Bryce landed parts in Netflix's popular thriller, "Black Mirror," and in the "Jurassic World" franchise alongside Chris Patt. The family has been a rare drama-free one in Hollywood.

Like Bryce, her siblings have also delved into acting themselves, but the firstborn is definitely the most widely-known. Additionally, she's perhaps the one who most resembles her red-haired father.

All Ron's kids were lucky enough to inherit his fiery locks, but Bryce also got her father's nose and one could argue his jawline. Either way, the actress is quite a beauty.

Her sister Paige is also a gorgeous one. Back in July, the sisters shared a series of shots as they commemorated Bryce's feature in "Rocketman." In at least two of the photos, Bryce and Paige smiled for the camera.

Paige wore a satin backless dress while Bryce had on a sheer black ensemble. Paige uploaded the picture and she spoke about her sister's inspirational movie in the caption.

The other photos in the post featured friends and other cast members of "Rocketman." We hope that Bryce continues to build her father's legacy in entertainment. So far, she's right on track.
