Nicole Kidman and her musician husband Keith Urban were in attendance at the recently-held Moulin Rouge Show, a stage adaptation of one of Kidman's famous works.
The Broadway production is a stage adaptation of Baz Luhrmann's 2001 musical drama of the same name. The film featured Nicole Kidman playing the lead role of Satine, a character loosely based on French can-can dancer, Jane Avril.
Kidman's sterling performance earned her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress as well as notable award nominations.
So, it was not too surprising to find her amongst the teeming crowd that sat to watch the show play out on stage. The mother of four attended the performance looking stylish like she always does. She wore a figure-flattering dress that did very much to accentuate her svelte figure.
The dress is of red oriental fabric, and it was just the perfect fit for an exceptional performance like the show. Via Instagram, Kidman shared three pictures taken from the memorable outing with her longstanding husband, Keith.
There is no need for the word of mouth as Kidman flaunted her joy by sharing the pictures. The first snap is a group picture of the gorgeous actress with the performers.
Even amidst the large group, the 52-year-old star still managed to stand out thanks to her red ensemble. The second picture is of Kidman and the actress of the night, Karen Olivo who played Satine.
Kidman's dress featured a high neckline, sleeves that reached just above her elbows as well as a belted waistline. The stunning piece was a startling contrast to Olivo's elaborate outfit, yet they both managed to look dazzling as they stood in a half-embrace posing for the camera.
The third picture featured Kidman in a hug with Aaron Veit who played the role of Aaron, the male protagonist in the show. The caption of the photos is a short and sweet message from Kidman as she aired her general opinions about the show.
"What a joy to see @MoulinRougeBway last night! It blew my mind! Get a ticket as soon as you can! And Karen and Aaron as Satine and Christian were superb. Thank you to all the cast and crew for greeting us with such open arms. #MoulinRouge."
The performance might have been an excellent one for the couple, but fans still expressed beliefs that no one plays Satine better than Kidman!
