Inside Dwayne Johnson and His Wife Lauren Hashian’s Love Story

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has accomplished every goal he has proposed: he was a fan-favorite professional wrestler in the WWE, became one of the highest-grossing box-office actors of all time, and married his beautiful girlfriend, Lauren Hashian.

Since neither Dwayne nor Lauren posts photos of each other on their social media accounts regularly, some people might find surprising that “The Rock” is in a relationship, let alone he’s married.

LAUREN HASHIAN’S LIFE BEFORE MEETING DWAYNE JOHNSON

Lauren is a singer, songwriter, and music producer who grew up surrounded by music. Her father, who died in 2017, was John “Sib” Hashian, the drummer of the classic rock band Boston.

Instead of encouraging her to pursue a career in the music industry, he would often tell her to avoid the business due to the many challenges he faced throughout his career. Fortunately, she followed her dreams and is making a name of herself.

THE COUPLE’S LOVE STORY

The “Hobbs and Shaw” star and Lauren have been dating since 2007, so it was about time for the couple to walk down the aisle.

They met each other in the Boston area in 2006 when Dwayne was filming “The Game Plan.” At the time, he was still married to his first wife Dany Garcia, the mother of his 18-year-old daughter Simone.

The following year, the ex-couple got divorced, and Dwayne and Lauren started dating. In a 2012 interview with People, he confessed to feeling lucky about finding love again after being married to Dany for almost ten years.

Talking to Esquire in 2015, the former WWE star confessed that he and Lauren had been living together for “eight or nine years,” which means that they moved together soon after they started dating.

One of the proofs that they like to keep their romance out of the spotlight is how long they waited before making their red-carpet debut: almost seven years into their relationship.

The milestone took place in late March 2013 during the “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” premiere in Los Angeles. After that, they have only gone together to similar events a few times.

THEIR TWO DAUGHTERS

In December 2015, a week before Christmas, Dwayne Johnson and Laura Hashian welcomed their first child together. In a beautiful Instagram post, the actor revealed that baby Jasmine was laying on his chest only a few minutes after being born.

“The Rock” also wrote that he was next to Laura during labor and advised men to do the same as “it’ll give you a whole new respect for the strength and beauty of a woman.”

In April 2018, Dwayne and Lauren welcomed their second daughter, Tiana. Just like he did it with Jasmine, “The Rock” uploaded a cute pic on Instagram showing his third daughter laying on his chest.

For the caption, the “Rampage” star wrote:

“I was raised and surrounded by strong, loving women all my life, but after participating in baby Tia’s delivery, it’s hard to express the new level of love, respect and admiration I have for [Lauren] and all mamas and women out there.”

THEIR MARRIAGE

During an interview with Rolling Stone only weeks before Tiana was born, “The Rock” confessed that the couple had plans to get married, but the pregnancy delayed everything.

“Mama don’t wanna take wedding pictures with a big belly—Mama wanna look good,” he wrote in the caption.

In July this year, more than a year later, the actor had to clear up some rumors claiming that he and Lauren had secretly married already. He even made everyone believe that there was no rush about tying the knot.

“I just refer to her as my wife all the time. So, a lot of people are like, ‘Oh, did you get married?’ I’m like, ‘No. Easy. Don’t rush big daddy,’” Dwayne told Entertainment Tonight.

On August 18, 2019, Lauren Hashian and Dwayne Johnson finally tied the knot. The actor revealed the big news on Instagram by uploading a slideshow of the couple posing with their wedding outfits.

In the first pic, Lauren appeared wearing a beautiful, sleeveless, white dress with a V-cut design. Apart from that, she was holding the bouquet up in the air while flashing her beautiful smile at the camera.

PHOTOS OF THE MILESTONE

“The Rock,” who also showed off his amazing smile, opted for white pants and shirt, matching Lauren’s outfit. In the second image, the couple kissed each other with the beautiful sea and the sunset in the background. The highlight of the photo was Lauren’s veil, though.

For the caption, Dwayne shared a few details of their ceremony: “We do. August 18th, 2019. Hawaii. Pōmaikaʻi (blessed)”

At the moment, both Dwayne and Lauren have their hands full. Apart from taking care of their daughters, “The Rock” is very active with upcoming films like “Jumanji: The Next Level,” “Jungle Cruise,” and the TV show “Ballers.”

Lauren, on the other hand, is focused on her music career. Her latest single, “Serve It Cold,” was released in May this year.
