Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's Wife Lauren Hashian Paid Tribute to Her Late Dad a Day Before Their Wedding
Lauren Hashian takes to social media to pay tribute to late dad a day before she wedded actor, Dwayne Johnson.
A day to her wedding to one of the most famous figures in the entertainment world, Lauren Hashian takes to her Instagram page to post a throwback picture in tribute to her late dad.
The throwback is a family photo which featured Lauren, her father, mother, and siblings as they cracked happy smiles for the camera. Lauren's post had a lengthy and emotional caption to go with it:
"On today, my father's 70th birthday, my family and I understand more than ever how blessed we were to have 67 years of his LOVE, laughs, music, wisdom, and guidance watching over us."
She concluded:
"Now he watches over us in a different way. Dad, I miss you everyday, I love you and wish you could be here to see all of this too... But I know you have the penthouse view now. Thank you for still being with us & walking with me in your new way... We YOU."
The heartfelt post had fans of the singer-songwriter commiserating with her with a good percentage sharing memories of Sib Hashian. A fan wrote:
"We need sib back all his fantastic rolls, like a bullet train always on time."
Lauren's Father Sib Hashian was a musician, best known for playing the drums for the band "Boston." He died on March 22, 2017, at the age of 67, after collapsing in the middle of a set while performing onboard a cruise ship.
A day after her tribute to her father, Lauren was given cause to be joyful again as she got married to her longtime lover Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
The pair officially tied the knot on Sunday in a discreet idyllic ceremony in Hawaii after having dated each other for close to 12 years. The 47-year-old movie star took to his Instagram to share heartwarming pictures from the ceremony.
They reportedly met each other on the set of "The Game Plan," and in 2007 the two started dating after Dwayne completed his divorce from ex-wife, Dany Garcia.
Dwayne and Lauren have two daughters, 3-year-old Jasmine and 16-months-old Tiana, between them. Lauren, like her father, has a career in music, but instead of handling the drums, she delved into songwriting.
She got her start in music as a finalist on a reality show titled "R U the Girl" where various women vied for the opportunity to replace Lisa Lopes of the girl group TLC after her death in 2002.
The former wrestler reportedly considers himself lucky to have found love again after he split with Danny Garcia. According to Dwayne, the secret to their long-lasting relationship is their ability to make each other laugh about virtually everything.
