Matthew Gray Gubler is a man of many talents. From acting, filmmaking, fashion modeling, painting, and even writing, he has tried his hand at almost all creative outlets.
However, one of his most renown roles is as Dr. Spencer Reid in the CBS television show "Criminal Minds." Besides acting in the show he also directed eleven episodes.
While he might have won fans over with his acting, the star left them stunned for a different reason recently. He took to his Instagram to share a rare childhood picture of himself.
The post was actually a picture of the childhood picture. It showed Gubler smirking slightly but confidently at the camera in a black and white image.
"No human being has ever been more confident than me after getting the “older-brother-in-boy-meets-world” special at supercutz," read the caption.
Fans were stunned by how much the star has changed over the years. The picture gained almost two hundred and fifty thousand likes.
Fans immediately took to the comments section. Many joked about the stars pouty smirk and "model" look in his childhood picture.
"We get it you were born to model," commented one fan and another added, "the model jumped out."
Earlier this year, Gubler had opened up in an emotional interview about the ending of "Criminal Minds." He called the final episode "bittersweet."
The show ended with just 10 episodes in the last season. Gubler revealed that the last episodes were "the strongest episodes of [the] entire series."
"We haven’t said it, but we’re starting to get the feeling of what it’s going to be like. I’m starting to realize like, 'Whoa, this might be the last time my character says four pages of factual information in a quick manner.' I’m like, 'Oh, my gosh.', " said the actor about the show ending.
