KUWTK Star Kim Kardashian Shares Photos of New Pomeranian Puppies, Asks Fans to Help Name Them

Kim Kardashian encouraged her fans to help her name her two new puppies. However, she was slammed for even considering purchasing pets due to two reasons.

Kim Kardashian proudly showed off the two new members of her family and asked fans to help her name them.

“Meet our new babies!” the reality star wrote to caption photos of her carrying her new furry friends.

She acquired two Pomeranians, a black male and a white female and encouraged her followers on Instagram to suggest names for them.

She revealed they had options courtesy of North who recommended names related to their Pomeranian dog, Sushi. The choices were Sake for the girl and Soba for the boy.

“Please comment below any ideas you have!!!” the mother-of-four urged.

"There are plenty of shelter dogs that need care and support and a good home ... the breeders you got those dogs from don’t."

A poll ensued among the A-list star’s followers who seemed to prefer the name Soba, which according to Elle got a 74% vote.

Kim has yet to respond to other suggestions which included Salt and Pepper and Soy and Milk.

"We both know it’s your staff who will be caring for and training those little pups, just like Sushi."

FANS AREN'T TOO PLEASED

But along with the positive comments, Kim also took a beating from fans who slammed her for purchasing the dogs instead of adopting from a shelter.

"Announcing your purchase of two new Pomeranian pups will also drive many of your millions of followers to seek out Pomeranians to purchase as well," one commented. "There are plenty of shelter dogs that need care and support and a good home ... the breeders you got those dogs from don’t."

"YOU...DON'T EVEN LIKE ANIMALS!"

Moreover, many reprimanded Kim for even bothering to get new pets when she's known not to be fond of them.

“You, by your own admission, don’t even like animals! We both know it’s your staff who will be caring for and training those little pups, just like Sushi," one of her concerned fans wrote.

That fan is aware that at one point Kim owned a cat named Mercy which she eventually gave away to her assistant. Shortly after, Mercy died due to stomach cancer.

When Khloe Kardashian surprised North with a pet hamster which died, Kim berated her sister and said, "This kind of [expletive] I can't deal with. This is why you don't give someone a pet."

With Kim’s family increasing in size, [she now has four kids] maybe she’s also had a change of heart when it comes to pets. It may also be her way of teaching her kids to take responsibility for something.

After Kim welcomed Sushi to the family, a source for People revealed in 2017 that the celebrity mom figured if North could take care of a puppy, she’d be more prepared to care for her younger sibling. At the time they were preparing to welcome Kim’s third child, Chicago via surrogate.
