As reported by E! News, the KKW beauty founder recounted the horrid advice her husband received when they first started dating. She said:
"I mean, everyone would tell him, 'You can't be with her. She's a reality star. She's gonna sink your career.'"
However, Kanye paid no mind to the remarks as Kim noted that he was bent on following his heart, saying:
"He was just like, 'but I love her. I don't care."
The challenges the relationship faced wasn't all that was discussed in the documentary.
Kanye also reminisced how he fell in love with the mother of his kids, as revealed by US Magazine. The successful rapper and fashion designer said:
"Anytime I was around her, or I saw her, it was a magnetic attraction to this force of energy. She was good, pure, happy, loving, brave, courageous, strong."
Although the pair initially met in 2002, it wasn't until a decade later that their true love journey began. They began dating officially in 2012 and tied the knot two years after in a lavish ceremony in Florence, Italy.
Over their 5-year-marriage, Kim and Kanye have welcomed four beautiful kids: North, 6, Saint, 3, Chicago, 20 months, and Psalm, 4 months.
Kim's marital life wasn't all that was discussed in the in-depth hour-long special. As revealed by Billboard, the mother-of-four also spoke of her rise to fame and lessons she learned on the way.
She disclosed that her father's involvement in the OJ Simpson trial taught her how the media could negatively change a reality.
She also mentioned that it was her girl pal Paris Hilton that taught her how to navigate the paparazzi.
Kim credited Kathie Lee Gifford for encouraging the idea of the family's hit show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."
