Actor and director, Bradley Cooper and his two-year-old daughter made a significant entry at this year's Mark Twain Prize Gala in Washington, being the first time the father-daughter pair would be sighted together in public.

Bradley Cooper, the legendary icon of "A Star Is Born," made an appearance at the Mark Twain Prize Gala on Sunday, carrying his two-year-old daughter, Lea De Seine Shayk.

BRADLEY AND LEA'S GRAND PRESENCE AT THE AWARD NIGHT
The rare appearance of the duo together was significantly the first sighting of the 44-year-old with his daughter, whom he shares with famous model, Irina Shayk, in a public event.
The father-of-one graced the occasion in support of his friend and co-star of "A Star Is Born," Dave Chapelle, who was honored with this year's American Humour Award.

The proud father also got his dose of praises from Chapelle, who acknowledged that he was a good friend, consummate actor and director.

AN OUTING WITH A STAR
PopSugar shared pictures from the event on social media, also citing the significance of the rare family outing. The media outlet wrote,
"A star is born, y'all. And that star is Lea Cooper, who just made her first public appearance with her dad, Bradley!"

Attached to the post was a photo of the movie director and his tot, both adorned in black and white outfits. The celebrity dad could be seen smiling while carrying his little girl.

FANS ARE IN A HAZE OVER BRADLEY'S FATHER STATUS
Following the post, Instagram users expressed their surprise over the discovery of Bradley's little star, with most revealing they were in the dark about her existence. One wrote,
"I was today years old when I found out Bradley Cooper has a daughter."

"Wow! never knew he was a dad."

Bradley and Irina welcomed their baby girl in 2017, two years after their relationship kicked off. The pair maintained a remarkably private life with their daughter for years.
However, they broke off the relationship earlier this year, after dating for four years, with a mutual, unwritten agreement to have joint custody of their child.
Fans are hopeful the duo would get back together again and give Lea the happy home she deserves.
