James Van Der Beek's Wife Kimberly Shares Health Update after Recently Suffering a Miscarriage

The 37-year-old wife of actor James Van Der Beek took to her Instagram to share her health status with concerned fans after suffering a miscarriage two weeks ago.

In a video posted on her Instagram story, Kimberly was full of appreciation for her family, friends, and fans for love shown towards her since the disheartening occurrence.

She was thankful to everyone who sent her messages and voice notes inquiring about her physical and mental well-being. The former business consultant shared the video on Wednesday while cuddling her daughter Annabel Leah.

Kimberly went on to talk about how her blood pressure has kept her in bed all day as she's too light-headed to be active. In all of this, the mom-of-five is positive of her healing as she said:

"I'm healing. I am definitely healing."

The 37-year-old shared a photo of her healing altar on her Instagram story. Kimberly, who believes in a holistic way of life, had precious stones, scented candles, and a match stick on her platform. In her caption, she wrote:

"Healing cleansing altar."

Kimberly suffered a life-threatening miscarriage barely a month after taking to Instagram to excitedly announce her pregnancy with a sixth child.

Her husband, actor James Van Beek announced the unfortunate event of the loss of their child in a pre-taped segment of "Dancing With The Stars."

The "Dawson's Creek" actor, devastated at this occurrence, further took to Instagram to support his wife and thank his colleagues for their support in this grieving time.

Kimberly and James got married in 2010 and are parents to Olivia, nine, Joshua, seven, Annabel, five, Emilia, three, and Gwendolyn, one.

The couple's sixth child was due in April, and while James shared that his wife has suffered three miscarriages, they all happened at an earlier gestation stage than this one.

James, who was pointed as the likely winner by fans of DWTS to win the show's 28th season, was shockingly evicted on Monday.

The actor and his professional dance partner Emma Slater were shown the door after a unanimous decision from the judges didn't go in their favor. Reactions from internet users weren't unexpected as the episode left them in awe.
