Donald and Melania Trump Return to Buckingham Palace without the Trump Kids for Queen Elizabeth's NATO Reception
Donald Trump and Melania Trump looked ready for a good time as they visited Buckingham Palace for a NATO 70th anniversary reception hosted by Queen Elizabeth. This time, however, the first couple visited the palace without their kids.
President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania are back in the Buckingham Palace six months since their first official visit and they are making the headlines.

According to PEOPLE, the Trumps were the last guests to be received by the Queen. Before the formal reception and welcome by Queen Elizabeth, the president, and his wife, Melania had tea with Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
However, unlike the last visit to the Palace, the White House occupants attended this function without their adult children.
Back in June, the President made his state visit to the U.K. in the company of his children – Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, Ivanka Trump, and Tiffany Trump.
The first family was in London for a three-day visit that included a banquet and a tour of monumental places in the U.K.

Meanwhile, Pop Culture mentioned that Melania's outfit comprising a bright yellow cape dress with magenta sleeves underneath caused a social media stir.
While some people loved the look, many couldn't comprehend why the First Lady chose that particular outfit.

According to Pop Culture, one critic stated that Melania's "coat was an embarrassment" while another stated that the First Lady looked like a "cartoon character" in her yellow and magenta outfit.
A third critic was curious to know if Melania's go-to attire to the Palace was yellow.

Despite the backlash, the Trumps appeared to have had a good time at the reception, just like they did back in June. USA Today recalled the First Lady's attire during their June visitation.
Melania looked regal in an ivory silk crepe gown with silk tulle details, which she paired with over-the-elbow white gloves. For her hair, the mother-of-one pulled it up and back in a bun.

On her part, the Queen looked flawless in a white dress which she paired with ruby and diamond jewelry.
The event, which was a lavish banquet to welcome the Trumps to the U.K, was also attended by Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and by Charles' son, Prince William and his wife, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge.
