The "Lemonade" crooner appeared to have maintained her sitting position at the same time, other celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Reese Witherspoon, and Ellen DeGeneres stood up to acknowledge Joaquin Phoenix's win for his role in the "Joker."

Beyonce's action was interpreted by most of the public as inappropriate. Some fans criticized the singer and maintained that her action was uncalled for.

A fan went as far as attacking her personality via a tweet. @Rawintelligence3 wrote,

"She's the least important person in the room."

Several fans came all out to defend this statement, although admitting that Queen Bey's move wasn't generally the smartest, her importance cannot be contested.

Another Twitter user examined the situation and concluded that not only was Beyonce's act "rude," her make up wasn't on point. The tweet read:

"I thought it was rude. As a performer, I'm sure it would hurt her if someone did the same to her. Also, in side note...she needs to fire her makeup artist. Her makeup was HORRIBLE tonight. She's stunning and didn't deserve that."

Beyonce has said nothing since the show, and the whole banter online began, however, it appeared that her aim for the evening was to do her thing her way.

First, the "Lion King" crooner avoided the red carpets and came in a few minutes after the event commenced. That was not all; the singer and her husband, Jay Z, ensured they brought their champagne brand to the ceremony.

Recently, she explained that her fashion sense is inspired by the need to be creative and that some of her outfits go to the needy, while some are stored for her kids.

The singer also graced the occasion with her style and pizzaz. While she takes delight in making good music, she also pays attention to her wardrobe choices.

Nominated for her "Spirit" song against a country artist, Taylor Swift, Queen Bey adorned herself at the Golden Globes in a gold apparel fit for a boss lady.

From her songs to her closet to the way she answers questions during interviews, all is nothing short of commendable.

Recently, she explained that her fashion sense is inspired by the need to be creative and that some of her outfits go to the needy, while some are stored for her kids. According to her :

"Versatility is a big part...taking chances and continually reinventing your look with all of these pieces...I also donate my personal clothes to great charities...And I save my special pieces for my daughters…"

This makes her an excellent artiste, no wonder her "Spirit" track was nominated in "Best Original Song" category.
