Monica is single and ready to mingle, sharing through an Instagram post what she looks for in a guy now that she got divorced from Shannon Brown.

Monica's relationship with Shannon Brown did not work out, but she's not giving up on love and even gave her Instagram followers a hint on what she looks for in a guy.

Monica is hard at work promoting her album "Chapter 38," which celebrates the years she's spent on Earth.

WHAT SHE LOOKS FOR IN A GUY

Now that she's back on the market, the "TI & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle" star wrote about what she's looking for in the man.

"I'm not looking!! When the time comes I just want him to be God-Fearing, Hard Working, Honest, with Principles & Integrity that will never be compromised || OH, and there's a heigh requirement for this ride"

KEEPING THINGS AMICABLE

The singer is busy while in the middle of a divorce from former NBA player Shannon Brown, but she's made sure to keep an amicable relationship with her estranged husband.

While divorce is something not a lot of people are comfortable talking about, but Monica has no problem discussing it.

"I'm not ashamed of what's happening in my life. I just think because I still have such a love and respect, even for Shannon, that there’s certain things that are just not up for discussion. We don’t have to be together to respect one another."

38-YEARS-OLD AND HARD AT WORK

Monica is hard at work promoting her album "Chapter 38," which celebrates the years she's spent on Earth. Through the years, she's gone through many challenges that going through such a personal one isn't something that could bring her down.

In fact, she decided when the divorce pushed through that she wasn't going to let it affect her career, especially her music.

"I won't let my personal life hold up the music."

MONICA'S CHILDREN

The Browns got married in November 2010, and while their compatibility as a married couple has ended, they shared some great times that they both will treasure forever.

Together, they share one child, Laiyah Shannon Brown. Monica has two children from a previous relationship, Romelo Montez Hill and Rodney Ramone Hill III.

Despite everything, the "T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle" star and her estranged husband are focused on doing what's best for their child, and they'll continue having a good relationship because of their goal.
