DEFENDING HER SISTER

In a new picture posted by Ming on Instagram, one of her viewers commented a rather assuming statement about her studies.

"I'm guessing you didn't go to college like your sister, you are gonna stay home and [expletive] it up."

After seeing the rude comment, Aoki made it clear that she wasn't going to allow anyone to speak to her sister like that, replying: "She goes to a top tier school and is brilliant. Go [expletive] a toe."

CLARIFYING MING'S ENROLLMENT STATUS

While 17-year-old Aoki had gotten an acceptance letter at Harvard, her older sister Ming is actually a student at New York University.

It turns out, Ming just isn't fond of showing off where she's going to school, but it doesn't mean that she isn't enrolled. After all, boasting that she goes to New York University might not sit well with some people, as it isn't exactly an affordable school, to begin with.

Previously, she shared a picture of a group of Black students from Harvard, celebrating black excellence in the prestigious school.

"Melanin too dark to throw us shade. swipe for excellence! #blackharvard #blackconvocation"

LIFE OUTSIDE UNIVERSITY

It turns out, the young woman is now a part of a group made especially for black Harvard students, and she was welcomed into it right when she got to the school.

On top of completing their own undergraduate degrees, Aoki and Ming are also managing their mom's famous Baby Phat line, giving it a fresh new look.
