A woman has become controversial recently in the online world after sharing that she has banned her mother-in-law from going to their house. She also wants her to stay away from her children.

On January 21, Reddit user [deleted] took to the social forum to ask fellow users whether she made the wrong decision to restrict her mother-in-law from going to their home and being part of her children's lives.

The woman and her partner have been together for nearly five years. They have one child, and she's currently pregnant with their third baby.

In 2015, she miscarried their first child as a result of the stress caused by her partner's sister, so she doesn't have a good relationship with her because of what happened.

Since she already has a history of miscarriage and even bled a couple of times during this pregnancy, her doctor told her she's not permitted to move around a lot.

Last October, her mother-in-law visited them and questioned her how she could still fulfill her responsibilities at home, especially taking care of their kid. Her mother-in-law also insisted that her son would not be able to do so because he had asthma.

The woman is the breadwinner, so her husband, who works freelance, does the housework while she's working. Her mother-in-law then told her that if she couldn't take care of her son, it would be best for him to return home.

"I snapped because I was already bleeding again as she was stressing me out, and I screamed at her to leave my house," she wrote.

Since the woman shared her post, it has garnered a lot of attention. Additionally, it has received many comments as people reveal their opinions.

The woman added, "She did leave, but a few days later, she got my blood boiling again when she sent a text to my partner about us selling the house just so my partner can get his cold checked out."

Since her pregnancy was at risk again because of what her mother-in-law did, and the way that she disrespected her in her own home, she decided to cut off ties with her and cut off her children's ties with her as well.

In another controversial post on Reddit, a man has caused quite a stir for responding negatively after his date revealed to him that she has a 4-year-old son.

He even told the woman he wasn't looking to date a mother. Many users also commented on his post, with one saying that he has every right to turn her down.
