Katharine McPhee from 'Scorpion' Jokes Marriage with David Foster Brought Her More Grammys Than Billie Eilish

Kathrine Mcphee, made a hilarious comment about having more Grammys than the teenage singer, Billie Eilish, from her marriage to 16-time Grammy Award-winner, David Foster.

"American Idol" alum, Kathrine McPhee insists her marriage to record producer David Foster has brought her more Grammy Awards than the celebrated Grammy winner, Billie Eilish, 18.

Billie took home five golden Gramophones on Sunday night, including the four biggest Grammy prizes, for an album, record, and song of the year as well as best new artist. Also, she won the best pop vocal category.

KATHRINE HAS MORE "WINS"

The 35-year-old took to Twitter to joke about Billie's wins, which has made her the youngest solo performer to achieve album of the year, snatching the crown from Taylor Swift. Taking a cue from the historic event, the "Smash" actress joked:

"Everyone who keeps saying Billie Eilish walked away with the most Grammys must not remember I won 16 by marriage this summer."

The singer's tweet was a play on her husband's record of winning sixteen Grammys throughout the five-decade span of his entertainment career.

WHO ELSE GOT A NOD?

Billie, who won five of her six nominations on the big day, becoming the first woman to land the major categories in the same year, was tied for the Grammy win alongside other trailblazing music icons.

The icon's singing prowess has a place in her husband's heart, which surpasses all the Gramophones in the world.

For the album of the year, achievers like, Ariana Grande, Bon Iver, H.E.R, Lana Del Rey, Lil Nas X, Lizzo and Vampire Weekend were among the nominees, but Eilish's album, "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go," won the grand prize.

DAVID'S FAVORITE SINGER

The 35-year-old "American Idol" alum met her husband while she was a contestant on the show, and the pair bonded thereon. When asked about what attracted him to the songstress, the 16-time Grammy award winner said:

"Her singing, first of all… I mean, where do I start, the inner beauty, the outer beauty."

Although, a Grammy holder only by marriage, the icon's singing prowess has a place in her husband's heart, which surpasses all the Gramophones in the world.

THEIR UNIQUE MARRIAGE

Katherine and David tied the knot in June last year, about thirteen years after their first meeting, and a year after their grand engagement.

The ceremony took place at the Church of Saint Yeghiche in South Kensington, in the presence of 150 guests comprising family, friends, and high profile personalities.

The union marked David Foster's fifth marriage, and Kathrine McPhee's second, with both resolving to have another go at love.

Since then, the duo has lived happily together, embracing each other's faults and achievements regardless of the 35-years age gap between them.
