Alex Rodriguez's Girls Natasha & Ella Praised Jennifer Lopez's Daughter Emme after Her Super Bowl Performance with Mom

On Sunday, February 2, 2020, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira thrilled the crowds with their Super Bowl Halftime performance. Lopez’s daughter, Emme, 11, got to take part in the performance.

After Lopez and Shakira’s performance at the Hard Rock Stadium field this weekend, Kevin Frazier had the chance to speak to some important viewers. The journalist spoke to Alex Rodriguez’s children Natasha, 15, and Ella, 11, backstage.

The two girls praised their “stepsister” Emme after she joined Lopez for a rendition of her song "Let's Get Loud" and Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the U.S.A." Ella said: "My favorite part was when the little girls came out and Emme sang, it was really good.”

“Her voice is just angelic”

Natasha added: "It was the coolest thing to watch my stepsister sing. I'm so proud of her every time I see her and her voice is just angelic." When asked how their soon-to-be stepmother was feeling after the performance, Natasha replied: "Jennifer is over the moon…I'm so happy for her.”

The little girl shared that her future step-mother was “proud of herself” as “she should be." The two girl’s father also showed his fiancée support by posting a video of himself dancing along to her set.

Emme’s father is proud of her

Emme’s father, Marc Anthony was also in attendance and he congratulated her by taking to social media to share his pride in her. For her performance, the pre-teen wore a white dress and boots. In May 2019, Lopez spoke about her little girl’s singing abilities.

Emme used to hum to herself as a baby

The star of “Hustlers” revealed at the time that Emme had her father’s voice. The actress and singer recalled how the little girl used to hum to herself in her crib when she was just a baby.

Anthony picked up on daughter’s singing abilities

Lopez explained how her ex-husband would insist the baby Emme was “singing.” The little girl’s father shared with Lopez that he also used to do the same thing when he was a baby.

Lopez played coy about kids being in performance

The model confirmed that the pre-teen could always sing from a young age. When Lopez was asked if her twin children, including Maximilian, would take part in the halftime performance, the star played it coy.

She explained that she didn’t want to “give away too many [secrets].”
