Fantasia of 'American Idol' Fame Sticks out Her Tongue in New Selfie with Her Son Dallas

Fantasia Barrino is a wonderful mother. Despite having her ups and downs in life, she has always found a way to come out strong while ensuring that she is the best mom to her children. Sharing an adorable picture of her son, Fantasia captioned it saying:

"My Lil King, He will cover me until I am old and grey, but let's never forget I will still be fly."

The mother-son duo gave off some healthy parent-child relationship goals as they smiled cheekily for the camera. Fantasia, who struck a tongue out pose, looked cool while sitting next to her son-Dallas, who was grinning for the camera.

About two weeks ago, Fantasia posted an image of the eight-year-old stating that he had been down with the flu for a couple of days but was recuperating well.

Dallas seems to have recovered from the flu that had him down, and it seems he is now up and healthy, looking lovely and sturdy while hanging out his mother.

It is quite rare to see Fantasia post images of her son, although his dad Antwuan Cook on the other hand, often posts pictures of the adolescent as regularly as he can.

Antwuans's wife, Paula, sued Fantasia for alienation of affection.

produced Dallas, and since his birth, his parents have tried to do right by him,

wholesome family experience.

The former American Idol winner has always gushed over her son, claiming that he has helped her on her journey to being a better person. Back in 2011, when speaking of the birth of her son, Fantasia said:

"I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family."

The "Enough" singer announced the birth of Dallas during an August concert, although at the time, she did not mention who the father was.

Fantasia gave birth to Dallas amidst high tension rumors about her relationship with Antwuan Cook, who at the time was married, something Fantasia claimed she was not aware of.

Antwuans's wife, Paula, sued Fantasia for alienation of affection and criminal conversation when she found out about the affair stating that Fantasia knew about the marriage and continued with the relationship.

In a surprising turn of events, Fantasia has claimed that people only saw what the media fed them and did not know the extent of what happened. She added that the media inflated some parts of the story to make it look juicier.

Fantasia, Antwuan, and Paula may have had their differences; the three of them have, however, set those differences aside to enjoy being parents and step-parent to Dallas.
