NeNe Leakes from RHOA Found out Husband Gregg Was Facetiming Female Employee and Didn't Speak to Him for Months

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Nene Leakes revealed details about her husband, Gregg Leakes, having conversations with her female employee on Facetime.

Nene Leakes' interview session on Angela Yee's Lip Service proved to be an entertaining and revealing spectacle, with the actress giving details about an occurrence that transpired in her relationship in the summer of 2019.

It will be recalled that Nene had put up a post on Instagram asking her followers what actions they would take if they found out that their partner was conversing inappropriately with a co-worker.

That post happened to be the reality star's real-life situation following her shocking revelation on the Lip Service. The issue began after Nene launched a boutique in Maryland, with her husband and another employee in charge of hiring workers.

Nene hired a woman, Juanita, as her store manager, believing that she had the kind of physicality that would suit her husband. Things took another turn when Juanita disagreed with another co-worker, whom she was close to.

While settling issues between Juanita and the other worker, Nene discovered that her husband and Juanita had been communicating via Facetime after the other worker revealed so.

Leakes immediately called Gregg, who refuted allegations that he had been talking to Juanita. Immediately she ended the call, her husband called Juanita, with Nene and other co-workers present.

Nene said she and her husband of over 20 years had talked about having an open marriage.

Nene, at that point, realized that her husband had been lying to her. He soon called her back, admitting that he had been talking to Juanita, but that there was nothing else between them.

Nene, however, fired Juanita. Gregg, when he saw his wife later, affirmed that he never discussed sex with her employee, and when she asked him why he was talking to the worker, his reply was:

"Because you weren't there for me to talk to."

Nene didn't find Gregg's reply cool, but he insisted that it was the reason why he was communicating with the fired worker. This made the actress stop speaking with him for a while.

Leakes admitted to not speaking to Gregg for a couple of months because she was angry at him. The struggles in their union were also witnessed in the eleventh season of RHOA.

Their marital struggles coincided with Gregg's battle with cancer, a fight he won and is now cancer-free. Before the start of RHOA's 12th season, Nene said she and her husband of over 20 years had talked about having an open marriage.

The 52-year-old also told the ladies at Angela Yee's Lip Service that she didn't care what Gregg did, as long as he doesn't do it with anyone close to her.
